Dr. George Michelinakis

George was born in Heraklion, Crete,
He was awarded the Degree in Dental Science (DDS) by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Faculty of Dentistry in 1999. He completed his 3-year training programme in the specialty of Prosthodontics at the University of Manchester Dental School and Hospital UK (2001-2004) and was awarded an MSc in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics (2003) and an MPhil in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics (2005) by the same University.
He also held the position of clinical assistant at the Manchester Dental School (2003-2004) teaching undergraduate students. From 2002 until 2004 he also served in the NHS as an associate at a Central Manchester dental practice. Since 2004 he maintains a private practice in Heraklion, Crete specializing in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry.
He has published in both English and Greek dental journals, authored a chapter in a book published by Quintessence and has lectured in numerous national and international conferences. George also serves as a reviewer for acclaimed prosthodontic journals.He is currently an active member of the International Team for implantology (ITI), the European Prosthodontic Association (EPA), the British Society of Prosthodontics (BSSPD) and the Greek Prosthodontic Society.
He served in the Board of Directors of the Stomatologic Society of Crete (SSC) for 12 consecutive years (2010-2022).
In 2003, George started working on the development of the Implant Recognition System© (IRS), a searchable database designed to simplify clinicians and technicians task when identifying a dental implant system. IRS won the third place in the 2008 NHS North West Innovation Awards.
In 2018 he was won the best oral presentation award at the 42nd annual conference of the European Prosthodontic Association for his lecture on intraoral digital impression systems.
George is a recognised specialist in Prosthodontics by the European Prosthodontic Association (www.epadental.org) and a fellow for the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
Dr. Alexandra Oikonomaki
Αlexandra was born in Heraklion, Crete.
She gained her BSc degree in Preventive Dentistry from the University of L'Aquila, Italy and her DDS in Dentistry from the Catholic University of Viseu, Portugal.
She has practiced dentistry in dental clinics in Greece, Italy and Portugal. She joined our clinic Crete Implant - Contemporary Dental Rehabilitation in 2023.
Alexandra is responsible for the Preventive and Peadiatric section in our clinic.Her duties include oral hygiene instructions and scaling and polishing for both our adults and young patients.She also practices Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry.
She has attended a series of practical and theoretical seminars through the years and is a strong advocate of continuing education.

Ms Salome Jordan
Salome has qualified as dental technician's assistant
She has gained extensive experience in the fields of dental lab management,patient management and dental assisting.
She is responsible for booking appointments with our patients and the person to talk to when a new patient is scheduled for a visit.
Salome is also responsible for the in-house lab in our clinic Crete Implants - Contemporary Dental Rehabilitation.
Salome's dutties include making sure that the dental lab work delivered to our practice is of the highest quality and always on time.

Ms Ioulia Iliaki
She has gained extensive experience in the fields of patient management and dental assisting through working in various dental clinics in Crete for the past 15 years.
Ioulia posseses great organizational skills. She is an experienced dental assistant both during the dental procedures but also during instrument cleaning, sterilization and handling.
